Para-aramid and carbon fibres
Recycled para-aramid processed into milled fibre from 200 microns to 3 mm. Up to five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis, with heat resistance above 500 °C for some types.
Technical FibresPolyarn bv — circular sourcing
Polyarn sources, trades and redistributes high-quality production residues and recycled materials for industrial applications worldwide — with a clear focus on high temperature polymers and para-aramid fibres.
What we trade
We buy production waste and post-consumer residues that still hold technical value, and return them to industry as usable raw material.
Recycled para-aramid processed into milled fibre from 200 microns to 3 mm. Up to five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis, with heat resistance above 500 °C for some types.
Technical Fibres
Engineering plastics with a heat deflection temperature above 200 °C at 1.8 MPa — suited to long-term service above 150 °C where standard thermoplastics soften or deform.
High Temperature PolymersHow we work
Polyarn is a trading company specialising in recycling and distribution of high temperature polymers and aramid fibres, with customers and suppliers around the globe. We look for material that can be recycled, resold and reused.
Applications
Milled carbon and aramid fibres are used in aerospace and military applications, ballistic-rated body armour fabric, bicycle tyres and as an asbestos substitute. In production they are mainly processed into:
Reinforcement for sealing materials that must hold pressure and temperature over long service intervals.
Friction materials that require thermal stability and consistent mechanical behaviour under load.
Fibre-reinforced compounds where strength-to-weight ratio and heat resistance are decisive.
Figures describe the material families we trade. Confirmed specifications per delivery are stated in the applicable datasheet and order confirmation.
Send us the material type, form, quantity and location. We respond with a concrete assessment.
